Dr. Thomas Biggs is a Board Certified Ophthalmologist specializing in traditional and laser cataract surgery, and advanced Intraocular Lens implantation, including multifocal, extended depth of focus, accommodating, and toric lenses. With extensive experience, he is recognized as one of Michigan’s leading laser cataract surgeons, operating exclusively at the Clarkston Surgery Center equipped with the LenSx® femtosecond laser suite.
A graduate of Michigan State University and the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Biggs completed his internship and residency training through the same program. Board certified by the American College of Ophthalmology, Otolaryngology, Head & Neck Surgery, he specializes in cataracts, glaucoma, and retinal diseases.
Dr. Biggs holds academic appointments as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine and as a Clinical Instructor of Ophthalmology at McLaren Hospital in Oakland. Committed to advancing his field, he is a member of several professional organizations including the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Osteopathic Association.
A native of Michigan, Dr. Biggs and his family reside in Clarkston, where he looks forward to serving the community’s eye care needs for years to come.
